Design and Emotion The Connection

Every object and everything that surrounds you autocad  has been designed to express emotion. We all react emotionally to our surroundings in various situations. You may feel happy or sad about something, like a certain food, or be elated by the sight. Although what you feel is distinctive is a result of your emotions.

Emotional design is a way for people to gain knowledge about the world around them. A positive experience can spark curiosity. A negative event can stop you from repeating the same error repeatedly. Three brain levels are associated with emotional attachment to objects: visceral, reflective, and behavioral.

Visceral Emotion designer design is the first reaction when we encounter a product. It’s all about aesthetics that range from how the item looks and feels to how it engages the senses. We base our decisions on our emotions and instant reactions to the item.

The other is called Behavioral Emotional Design. It is a measure of the ease of use a product has. It’s how well the product is in performing its intended functions and how easy it is to use.

Reflective Emotional Design, which refers to the capability to reflect the impact of a product’s impact on our lives once we have used it, is the final alternative. Reflective Emotional Design is a method to assess how the product’s influence has affected our lives. Designers want to maximize the desire to control the product at the reflective level.

Normal brain function is triggered by emotions. The brain is triggered by negative experiences to focus on the negative. This reduces your ability to think causes anxiety and limits your freedom to interact with products. Customers want products that are easy to use and fun to use. Combining both of these is what helps to create and maintain a an interaction between users and the products. Enhancing customer experience requires that you think about the entire user experience.
